How long does
your cash last?
Before the business plan gets pretty, make the cash math ugly. Model startup spend, recurring burn and early revenue in one screen.
Planning model only. “Gross profit” here means revenue less direct cost of goods/services, before payroll and fixed operating expenses.

A better question
Can the business breathe?
Immigration strategy, financing and business viability are separate analyses. A business that technically launches but starts with three months of cash is fragile regardless of the legal structure.
01
Separate launch from runway.
Deposits, equipment and acquisition costs should not masquerade as operating cushion.
02
Model payroll early.
Hiring is not a footnote. Put planned staff into monthly burn before revenue optimism.
03
Stress the revenue.
Re-run the calculator with gross profit cut in half. The second answer is usually more informative.
